Privacy Policy

ToneVault is committed to keeping your visit private. This policy explains, in plain language, what information we collect when you browse our Bollywood ringtone library, how that information is used, and what choices you have over it.

What we collect

When you visit ToneVault, our web server records the standard information that any web server records: your IP address, the date and time of the request, the page you requested, the page you came from (referrer), and the user-agent string of your browser. This information is used to serve the page and to compile aggregate, anonymous traffic statistics. We do not require accounts, and we do not collect names, email addresses or phone numbers unless you voluntarily contact us.

Cookies

ToneVault itself does not set tracking cookies. We do not run analytics that personally identify visitors. If we display third-party advertising in the future, those advertisers may set their own cookies subject to their own privacy policies — we will update this page if and when that happens, and we will provide cookie consent controls as required by your jurisdiction.

Third-party services

Some pages may include third-party advertising slots (visible as ADSENSE_* placeholder comments in the HTML source). When live, these slots may load resources from advertising networks such as Google AdSense, which have their own data collection practices. You can review Google's advertising privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy and adjust your ad personalisation settings at adssettings.google.com.

Audio previews and downloads

When you preview or download a ringtone, your browser fetches the audio file directly from our server. We log the file request the same way we log a page request — IP, time, file path. We do not associate downloads with personal identity.

Children's privacy

ToneVault does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The site is designed as a content library for general audiences and contains no features that solicit information from children specifically.

Data retention

Standard web server logs are retained for up to 90 days for security and operational purposes, then aggregated or deleted. Any voluntarily submitted contact information (e.g. emails to our support address) is retained only as long as needed to handle the inquiry.

Your rights

If you are in a jurisdiction with data protection laws such as the GDPR (European Union), UK GDPR, or the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), you have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you. Because we collect minimal personal data, in most cases there is little to access — but you can email privacy@tonevault.example with any data request, and we will respond within the legally required timeframe.

International transfers

ToneVault may be hosted in data centres outside your country of residence. By using the site, you consent to the transfer of standard request data to those locations for the purposes of serving the site to you.

Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time, particularly if we add new features such as user accounts or analytics. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be flagged on the homepage for at least thirty days.
